Since its inspection in 2008, the Aeronautical Engineering Department with its energetic and dynamic faculty has provided complete engineering converting your individuals in to engineers,with both classroom and shop floor knowledge.the department has well qualified,dedicated and experienced faculty who have been the driving force behind the rapid success of this department    

The aeronautical Department was inspected in the year 2008 and is yet to be accredited. our department has an intake of around 65 students presently and will increase to 120 in the year 2010.Student's memberships in various professional bodies like AeSi and SAE, help to enhance their co-curricular activities.Students are encouraged to participate in various competitions and seminars conducted and have won prizes.

RC flight models are used to give the student a brief idea about the components present in the aircraft and their design and function. Our department library has 897 books with 18 titles get added every week. We have around 256 online ASME journals which get updated every week and subject oriented CD's as apart of Computer based Tutorials for the enrichment of the student's knowledge. Knowledge of Software packages like CAD, UNIGRAPHICS, MAT LAB, BFX, Ansys and Catia are provided to the students. The Department also gives exposure to the students in design and manufacturing skills in its fully-equipped CAD/CAM laboratory.To acquaint them with current technological advancements, Inplant training, Industrial visits and technical seminars are organized frequently.
