National Cadet Corps (NCC)
National cadet corps (N.C.C) Naval Wing was started in our college on 17th September 2003 in the presence of Commander B.V.Ramakrishna and is functioning successfully under the excellent guidance of our Founder Chairman Dr.Jeppiaar M.A, B.L, Ph.D. and energetic Directors Mr.Marie Wilson.,Btech.,M.B.A.,(Ph.D) and Mrs.Regeena Wilson.,B.Tech.,M.B.A.,(Ph.D).
The strength of NCC division is 50 cadets, including 15 Girl Cadets. Every year 20 Parades are conducted, each parade consisting of 6 periods (i.e.) 4 hours. Petty officers from 4(T.N) Naval Tech Unit train and infuse great enthusiasm in our cadets.
ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP:
Seven Annual Training Camps were conducted in our college, where Senior Division & Senior Wing cadets from six Engineering colleges and Junior Division cadets from four schools were participated.

Our College also won the Overall Champions Trophy and Best Cultural Trophy. The cadets also won the Basket Ball trophy. The SW(Girl) cadets also won the Cultural and Basket Ball trophy in ATC 2009.
CYCLE EXPEDITION
We are conducting Cycle Expedition every year to spread awareness to people regarding Social themes from Chennai to Kanniyakumari and from Chennai to Velankanni covering about 1000 kms.
