FINANCIAL ANALYSIS OF BUSINESS CONCERN
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME:
The Staff Development Programme is designed to share the current status of knowledge with new generation faculties in Broad are of Finance to equip them with new techniques used in teaching and research. The programme is devised meticulously to expose the young faculty participants.
This provides useful and valuable information regarding the financial position and future prospects of the business concern. This analysis not only meant for the owners, but also for the financiers, creditors, investors, employees, consumers, tax authorities, government, researchers to take timely and fruitful decision in their respective field.
This induction programme provides a lot of information on how to make an effective financial analysis in the companies, based on the information furnished in the financial statements which benefit the teachers in strengthening and improving their knowledge in the field of finance which in turn to provide better teaching environment.
INAUGURATION:
Jeppiaar Engineering College, Department of Management Studies, organized AICTE sponsored SDP on “FINANCIAL ANALYSIS OF BUSINESS CONCERN” from April 26th to May 7th 2010. This programme was inaugurated on April 26th 2010 at 10.00 AM in Jeppiaar Engineering College by our Beloved Directors Mr. Marie Wilson and Ms. Regeena Wilson, with Principal Co-ordinator, Dr. N. Thangavel, Principal, Management Studies and Dr. L. Sushil Lal Das, Principal, Jeppiaar Engineering College. The guest of honour was Dr. S.K. Mohandas, Dean, Anna Institute of Management, Chennai.
ACTIVITIES OF THE PROGRAMME:
• This Staff Development Programme was sponsored by the AICTE, New Delhi.
• It was conducted for 10 working days.
• Twelve Resource persons from Academic, Industry and Consultancy Services have come and delivered speech.
• Twenty two faculties from various colleges have come and participated in the programme.
• All the participants were given participation certificates.
• All the participants have gained rich knowledge in the broad field of finance and the financial analysis and they are very much satisfied with the total programme.
